I'm Michelle Norton. This site and the mutual exchange service are run by me personally. Anything about your data: [email protected].
Only what you put in the registration form: your name and contact details, your address, the details of your current home and the home you want, any photos you add, and anything you write in the free-text boxes. If you use the contact form, I also keep the email address and message you send until I have answered it.
Finding you a mutual exchange match and contacting you about it. That's the whole list. No marketing emails, no newsletters, and your details are never sold or passed to anyone for their own use.
To find you a match I may show other swappers the details of your home: area, size, type, features, photos, and your first name. Your surname, email, phone number, and house number stay private until you tell me you want to be introduced to a specific match. If you tick the box to appear in the public listings on this site, your home is shown to anyone visiting the page with your first name and postcode area only; you can untick it or remove your listing at any time from your private link.
In my private database (hosted with Supabase) that only I can access. The form sends your details over an encrypted connection.
While you're actively looking. Once you've moved, or if you stop responding, or whenever you ask, your registration and photos are deleted.
You can ask me at any time what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email [email protected] and it's done, no process to go through.
This site sets no cookies. I do use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit which pages, which is privacy-first by design: no cookies, no fingerprinting, and nothing that identifies you personally or follows you to another site.
